Summer Reading Program

We want to take a moment to thank our sponsors of the Agnes Robinson Waterloo Public Library 2017 Summer Reading Program. Your support enables us to have a successful program and enables so many children to enjoy the library programs.

JEFF QUINN, MAGICIAN

Jeff Quinn, Magician visited the Library for Family Nite on Friday, July 16. What an amazing night! Jeff even made the lights go off and on in the library (or at least he took credit for the feat on that rainy, stormy night!). Make sure to check the dates of future Family Nites at the Library for more fun and excitement.

LEGO FUN

Oh Goodness what fun was had at the Lego Party on Tuesday Night. Be sure to come back and if you haven't made it yet, stop by this Tuesday.

 More Lego Fun

Our Second Lego night was so much fun. It is great to see the parents enjoying the legos as much as the children.

Final Lego Night

Our final session of Lego Night was complete with guests Dillon Saathoff and Troy Ogden showing their robots to the group. What a great job these two have done in building these robots.

With the success of our Lego Nights, the Library will be offering these again during the school year. We will keep you posted as to dates and times.

WILDLIFE ENCOUNTERS

Our second family night was June 25, with Wild Life Encounters. Our patrons got to see and touch many wild animals including an Alligator, a Albino Python, a hedgehog, a Feral Fox and a Patagonian Cavy, and a Porcupine. Make sure to come to our next Family Night on July 7, when the Omaha Zoo is our guest.

CHILDREN'S MUSEUM BUBBLE SHOW

The Library hosted the Children's Museum Bubble Demonstration. What an interesting and fun presentation.

Poppin' Penelope Pizza Party

The Library's final family night during summer reading was a pizza party and guest, Poppin' Penelope doing face painting and balloon hats and swords. The night was a great end to a wonderful summer reading program. Thanks to all who participated, volunteered and had fun!
